Ofsted changed the scorecard. We show both.
Single-word grades are being replaced. From 10 November 2025, inspections use report cards across six areas on a five-point scale, plus safeguarding met or not met. Most schools still show an old-framework grade: as at 14 October 2026 we hold report cards for 2,441 open England schools. TrustlyEd tracks old grades and new report cards side by side, so you can see which schools have actually been reinspected.
Five-point scale: Exceptional · Strong standard · Expected standard · Needs attention · Urgent improvement. Plus: Safeguarding met / not met.
